MEDITATIEWE AANDDIENS 16 AUG, 7NM

Moments of silence
We live in such a fast-paced world today with many attractions and distractions that have an impact on our daily lives. The hustle and bustle of the city adds to our sense of unsettledness. For most of us it seems quite impossible to be still, really still even for a couple of minutes. And yet, this is what we most aspire to have – inner peace and quiet to ground ourselves. We at Three Anchor Bay Church decided therefore to start an evening service with meditation and mindfulness and tonight will be the first of many. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy absolute stillness in the presence of God. This hour is for you to use, to meditate, to have a conversation with God, to find your stillness. There is no structure to the service – everyone finds a place to sit at 19:00. Sacred music will be playing in the background. There are a few candles in front and you are welcome to light a candle in memory of someone special. Please take cognisance of those joining you in this hour of stillness. Spread the word please – there are many more people who yearn for some quiet time.
